CANDLE F.A.Q'S
About Canopy Candles
What are Canopy Candles made from?
CANOPY candles are made from 100% sustainable soy wax, vegan oils, and
natural fragrance blends for a clean, non-toxic burn.
How long do your candles burn?
Burn time varies by size, but each candle is designed to provide hours of soothing,
long-lasting fragrance.
Are your candles safe for my home and family?
Our Phthalate-free candles use natural wax alternatives and synthetic or essential-oil fragrances formulated without hormone-disruptive plasticizers to ensure cleaner indoor air. They are vegan, cruelty-free, non-toxic, and paraffin-free, making them safe for
home use.
Sustainability & Eco Values
Are Canopy Candles really biodegradable?
Yes. We use only 100% soy wax, which is naturally biodegradable. This means our candles are kind to the planet as well as your home.
Do you use eco-friendly packaging?
Absolutely. Each candle comes in a 100% recyclable jar with minimal, eco-conscious packaging. We design everything with sustainability at the heart.
Why should I choose soy candles over paraffin candles?
Soy candles burn longer, cleaner, and without releasing toxins. Paraffin candles, made from petroleum, can pollute indoor air. By choosing Canopy Candles, you’re choosing eco-luxury with purpose—better for you and better for the environment.
Experience & Wellbeing
What makes Canopy Candles unique?
Beyond being eco-friendly, our candles are story-led and mindful. Each scent is crafted to enhance wellbeing, calm, and connection, helping you create moments of peace and presence in everyday life.
Are these candles suitable as gifts?
Definitely. With their artisan quality, elegant jars, and sustainable ethos, Canopy Candles make thoughtful, meaningful gifts for birthdays, holidays, weddings, or self-care moments. Luxury Gift Bag option available at checkout.
Candle Care & Use
How do I get the best burn from my candle?
For a long-lasting, even burn:
Trim the wick to 3-5cm before lighting
Let the wax melt fully across the top on the first burn (to prevent tunneling)
Keep away from drafts, children, and pets
Can I reuse the candle jars?
Absolutely! Once the candle is finished, jars can be cleaned and repurposed for
storage or decor.

Where are Canopy Candles made?
All our candles are hand-poured in the UK with meticulous care.
Do you offer international shipping?
