You may only use the Site for personal use. Any commercial use by you of the Site is strictly prohibited. Unless otherwise stated in these Terms and Conditions, you must not (whether directly or indirectly) (i) copy, download, store, make available, distribute, sell or offer to sell all or any part of the content or Site or Application, or (ii) download or otherwise copy any content, files or data from the Site to make or populate a database or publication of any kind whatsoever.

Registration

You must be at least 18 years old to register and submit comments or photographs through the Site.You must not register more than one account. You must provide an up-to-date email to which you have regular access as we may need to contact you regarding your submissions. You must not: impersonate or try to impersonate another person; disclose your password to anyone else; allow anyone else to use your account; or use anyone else's account. Gift with purchase discounts & promotions

Any advertised gift with purchase will be honoured where the qualifying spend is met (after a promotional code is applied to an order) whilst stocks last. A gift with purchase cannot be given where the spend threshold is not met or a promotional discount code is used that brings your order below the qualifying spend.

Discounts, Sales & Promotion

Discounts, Sales & promotions apply only to products in stock at the time of sale. Both products and additional gifts are only available while stocks last. No out of stock items can be honored at a future date. Only one promotional code allowed per order. Promotional codes may not be valid on specified products. Qualifying spend per order must be met after promotional code is applied to redeem gifts. Slight shipping delays may occur due to high volume of orders.

SPRINGGIFT20 - Gift Voucher

Entitles the customer to £20 off qualifying purchases at Canopy Beauty and is valid for 6 months from the date of issue (01.03.2026) within the United Kingdom only. The code is one use per customer and per transaction, is non-transferable, has no cash value, and cannot be exchanged for cash or credit. It cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer, promotion, discount, or sale items. Refunds will be processed in accordance with our standard returns policy and any refund will reflect the discounted price paid; expired codes will not be reissued. We reserve the right to withdraw or amend this promotion where necessary due to circumstances beyond our control. These terms do not affect your statutory rights under UK consumer law.

Canopy Beauty – Seasonal Candle Subscription Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to your purchase and use of the Canopy Beauty Seasonal Candle Subscription (“Subscription”) operated by Orta Skincare Ltd (“Canopy”, “we”, “our”, “us”).

By subscribing, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully before purchasing.

The Subscription

Our Seasonal Candle Subscription is a recurring service providing a hand-poured 230g 100% soy candle, crafted to celebrate each season. Each box includes:

One full-size seasonal soy candle 

Seasonal self-care or skincare gift

Hand-wrapped recyclable packaging

Wellbeing scent card

Automatic Wellbeing Points added to your Canopy account

Each box has a minimum value of £90 RRP.

Subscription Options & Payment

Quarterly plan: £39.00 every 3 months

Payment Schedule

Quarterly payments are taken 7 days before each seasonal dispatch.

Payment will be processed securely via our checkout partner (Stripe/Shopify Payments/etc).

Launch & Delivery

The first seasonal box launches November 2025, followed by rolling seasonal launches every 3 months (Winter, Spring, Summer, Autumn).

Delivery is currently UK only and free via standard shipping.

We aim to dispatch boxes in line with the seasonal schedule; however, exact delivery dates may vary due to production or courier delays.

Cancellation & Renewal

Your Right to Cancel (Cooling-Off Period)

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your subscription within 14 days of receiving your first box for a full refund, provided the box is unopened and in resalable condition.

Ongoing Subscriptions

After the first 14-day period, you may cancel at any time before your next billing date.

If payment has already been taken for an upcoming box, cancellation will apply to the next seasonal cycle.

Discounts

A 15% discount using available discount code & must be applied at checkout using the 'Promotional code' tool. The 15% will be applied automatically to the first 3 deliveries of the Canopy Seasonal subscription box. Full price will revert following. Only available in the UK. Returns, Refunds & Breakages

Returns

If you wish to return an item:

You must notify us within 14 days of delivery.

Items must be unopened and in resalable condition.

You are responsible for return postage unless the item is faulty or incorrect.

Refunds

Refunds will be processed within 14 days of receiving your return, to the same payment method used for purchase.

Damaged or Faulty Items

If your candle or gift arrives damaged:

Notify us within 14 days of delivery.

We will arrange a replacement or refund at no cost to you.

Subscription Exclusivity

All candles are limited edition seasonal scents.

Once a scent sells out, it will not be restocked.

Subscribers who miss a box may join the waitlist for the next season.

Gifting

You may purchase the Subscription as a gift.

Gift recipients will receive boxes as per the subscription schedule.

You can add an optional luxury branded Canopy gift bag at checkout.

Wellbeing Points

Wellbeing Points are automatically added to your Canopy account after each box dispatch.

Points are redeemable only through canopybeauty.co.uk on qualifying purchases.

Points hold no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money.

Canopy reserves the right to amend or withdraw the points scheme with reasonable notice.

Product Care & Safety

Burn candles on a heat-resistant surface.

Keep away from children, pets, and flammable materials.

Do not leave candles unattended.

Follow the safety guidance provided on the product label and scent card.

Our Responsibility

We take great care to ensure all products meet the highest standards. However:

Scent intensity and burn time may vary slightly due to the natural hand-poured process.

We are not liable for any indirect loss or damage caused by improper candle use.

Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the value of your subscription box.

Nothing in these Terms excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any rights you have under UK consumer law.

Intellectual Property

All content, images, and branding on canopybeauty.co.uk are owned by or licensed to Orta Skincare Ltd and protected by copyright law.

Privacy & Data Protection

We take your privacy seriously.

Your data is processed securely and in accordance with the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.

We will never sell or share your personal data without consent.

Changes to These Terms

Canopy may update these Terms from time to time. Any significant changes will be communicated via email and published on our website.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

Affiliate & General Terms & Conditions – CANOPY Beauty (Orta Skincare Limited)

These Terms & Conditions (“T&Cs”) govern the use of CANOPY Beauty products, services, and affiliate/referral programs operated by Orta Skincare Limited (“we”, “us”, “our”). By participating in the CANOPY Beauty affiliate program or purchasing via an affiliate link, you agree to these T&Cs.

1. General

1.1 CANOPY Beauty is a brand owned and operated by Orta Skincare Limited.
1.2 By using our products, services, or affiliate links, you agree to these Terms & Conditions, our Returns Policy, and applicable UK consumer law.

2. Eligibility

2.1 Participants in our affiliate program must be at least 18 years old.
2.2 Affiliates must comply with all applicable laws, including advertising, marketing, and online disclosure requirements (e.g., “#ad” or “affiliate link” labeling).

3. Affiliate Referral Program

3.1 Affiliates receive a commission on the sale value for purchases made through their referral links, subject to the conditions below.
3.2 Commission is only payable for legitimate sales where the customer completes payment and the product is not subsequently returned, canceled, or refunded.
3.3 We reserve the right to adjust, withhold, or reclaim commission in cases of:

  • Customer returns or refunds under UK consumer law.

  • Suspected fraudulent transactions (e.g., chargebacks, duplicate orders, stolen payment methods).

  • Self-referrals or attempts to manipulate the affiliate program.

  • Violation of these T&Cs or applicable laws.

4. Payments to Affiliates

4.1 Affiliate commissions are calculated based on net sales (after returns, discounts, taxes, and refunds).
4.2 Payments are made monthly, typically within 30 days after the end of the calendar month in which the sale occurred, unless a return or refund applies.
4.3 Affiliates are responsible for reporting and paying any taxes on earned commissions.

5. Customer Returns & Refunds

5.1 Customers are entitled to return products in accordance with UK consumer rights, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
5.2 If a customer returns a product or requests a refund, the corresponding affiliate commission will be deducted from the affiliate’s balance or reclaimed from future payments.
5.3 Products eligible for return must be in original condition, unused unless faulty. Perishable, personalized, or hygiene-sensitive items may have specific return restrictions.

6. Fraud Prevention & Compliance

6.1 CANOPY Beauty monitors for industry-standard fraud patterns, including:

  • Multiple accounts by the same individual attempting to earn referral commissions.

  • Orders placed with stolen or fraudulent payment details.

  • Inflated returns or “return abuse” attempts by customers or affiliates.
    6.2 We reserve the right to suspend, withhold, or terminate accounts suspected of fraudulent activity without prior notice.
    6.3 Affiliates are strictly prohibited from using spam, misleading ads, or non-compliant promotional methods.

7. Intellectual Property

7.1 All CANOPY Beauty branding, images, and materials are our property. Affiliates may only use approved assets for promotional purposes.
7.2 Unauthorised use of intellectual property may result in account termination and legal action.

8. Limitation of Liability

8.1 CANOPY Beauty is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from affiliate participation or customer purchases.
8.2 Liability for any direct claims shall not exceed the value of commissions earned or sales made.

9. Privacy & Data

9.1 Customer and affiliate personal data is processed in accordance with UK GDPR and our Privacy Policy.
9.2 Affiliates must not misuse customer data obtained via their referrals.

10. Amendments

10.1 CANOPY Beauty may update or modify these T&Cs at any time.
10.2 Changes take effect immediately upon posting on our website or affiliate portal.

11. Governing Law

11.1 These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Loyalty Program – Canopy Wellbeing Points

Our loyalty program is operated through Smile.io. Participation is optional and governed by our Canopy Wellbeing Points Program Rules (see below).Points do not constitute currency, have no cash value, and cannot be transferred or exchanged. We may modify or terminate the loyalty program at any time with notice.

Account & Security: You must provide accurate account details.You are responsible for maintaining account confidentiality.We reserve the right to suspend or close accounts for misuse or fraud.

Limitation of Liability: We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.We do not exclude liability for death, personal injury, or fraud caused by our negligence. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the total price of the goods purchased.

Data & Privacy: Your data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Data used for the loyalty program is shared with Smile.io, which processes data in compliance with GDPR.

Governing Law: These Terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales.Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

Canopy Wellbeing Points — Program Rules

The Canopy Wellbeing Points Program (the “Program”) rewards loyal customers for eligible actions through our website.The Program is operated using the Smile.io
Membership is free and automatic upon account creation.

Eligibility

Open to UK residents aged 18+ who hold an active Canopy account.Business accounts and wholesale purchases are excluded.Participation implies acceptance of these Rules and our general Terms & Conditions.

Points will appear in your account within 48 hours of qualifying actions. Points are not earned on taxes, delivery fees, or gift cards. If an order is refunded, cancelled, or returned, points earned from that order will be deducted.

Every 100 points = £1 off your next order.Points can only be redeemed online at checkout.
Minimum redemption value and increments may apply as shown in your account. Discounts from points cannot be combined with other promotional codes unless stated.
Points have no cash value and cannot be exchanged or transferred.

Expiry, Suspension & Termination

Points expire after 12 months of account inactivity. “Inactivity” means no earning or redemption actions within 12 months. We may suspend or terminate any account suspected of misuse or fraud. If the program ends, we will provide reasonable notice and a grace period to redeem remaining points.

Smile.io Platform

The Program runs on Smile.io’s Plan. Smile.io provides technical processing only. Smile.io’s Terms of Service apply to the functionality and maintenance of the Program.
Orta Skincare Ltd remains the data controller for customer data.

Customer Rights & Fair Use

Participation does not affect your statutory consumer rights. We reserve the right to update earning rates, rewards, or terms with notice. Any misuse (e.g. fake accounts, self-referrals, manipulation) will result in forfeiture of points.

Data & Privacy

Personal data is collected and used for managing your loyalty account and rewards. Data is shared securely with Smile.io under GDPR compliance. For full details, refer to our Privacy Policy.

CANOPY BEAUTY – Test Canopy products & quiz - TERMS & CONDITIONS (UK Only)Last updated: 11.11.2025

1. Organising Company

The “VEGETATION Ritual Quiz” (the “Quiz”) is organised by Orta Skincare Limited, a company incorporated and registered in England and Wales under company number: 11898723, with its registered office at:Chester, CH2 3AX. United Kingdom
(hereinafter “Canopy Beauty”, “we”, or “us”).

The purpose of the Quiz is to gather consumer insights relating to skincare preferences and self-care habits, and to assess potential suitability for selection into Canopy Beauty’s voluntary product testing activities (the “Testing Programme”).

2. Conditions of Participation

2.1 The Quiz is open to UK residents aged 18 years or over.
2.2 No purchase is necessary to participate.
2.3 Only one entry per person is permitted. Duplicate or fraudulent entries may be removed.
2.4 By completing the Quiz, participants (“Participants”) confirm that all information provided is accurate and that they accept these Terms & Conditions.
2.5 Employees of Orta Skincare Limited, their immediate family members, or anyone professionally associated with the Quiz are not eligible to participate.

3. How the Quiz Works

3.1 Participants must complete the five skincare/scent/self-care questions, plus the optional sustainability question, and provide basic contact details (name and email address).
3.2 Completion of the Quiz does not guarantee selection for any Testing Programme.
3.3 Selected testers (“Testers”) will be chosen based on responses to the Quiz and other internal criteria relevant to the product under testing.
3.4 Testers (if any) will be contacted via email only with further details of participation.
3.5 Canopy Beauty may choose not to select any testers. Participation creates no legal claim, expectation or entitlement to receive products or enter the Testing Programme.

4. Testing Programme (If Applicable)

4.1 Testers may receive product samples free of charge for personal use only.
4.2 Testers may be asked to complete a short feedback form or review after using the product; participation is voluntary, but selected Testers are encouraged to provide honest feedback.
4.3 Any additional costs (for example, transport to collect post if required) are the responsibility of the Tester.
4.4 Testers must carefully review the full INCI ingredient list on the product packaging and online before use, and must not use the product if they have any known allergies to the listed ingredients.
4.5 Canopy Beauty accepts no responsibility for reactions caused by undisclosed allergies or misuse of the product.

5. Personal Data & Privacy

5.1 Personal data provided during the Quiz (including contact details and quiz answers) will be used solely for:

  • administering and reviewing Quiz responses

  • assessing eligibility for the Testing Programme

  • contacting Participants about tester selection or personalised results

  • internal analysis related to product development and marketing insights

5.2 Your personal data will be processed in accordance with UK data protection laws (UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018).

6. Limitation of Liability

6.1 Canopy Beauty reserves the right to modify, suspend or cancel the Quiz or Testing Programme at any time if circumstances require (including but not limited to supply issues, unforeseen operational challenges, or regulatory changes).
6.2 Canopy Beauty is not responsible for:

  • lost, delayed or misdirected entries

  • technical failures, internet issues or website errors

  • postal delays or courier errors relating to sample deliveries (if applicable)
    6.3 To the fullest extent permitted by law, Canopy Beauty will not be liable for any loss, damage or injury arising from participation in the Quiz or Testing Programme, except where caused by negligence.

7. Intellectual Property

All Quiz content, branding, and materials remain the property of Orta Skincare Limited. Reproduction or use without prior written permission is prohibited.

8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

8.1 These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
8.2 Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
8.3 Participants and Canopy Beauty agree to attempt to resolve any dispute amicably before formal proceedings.

Typographical Errors

In the event that a CANOPY or CANOPY Beauty product is mistakenly listed at an incorrect price, we reserve the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for products listed at the incorrect price. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is cancelled, Orta Skincare Ltd shall issue a credit to your credit card account in the amount of the incorrect price. Orta Skincare Ltd is not liable in the event that an order cannot be fulfilled due to out of stocks or any other issues. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is cancelled, Orta Skincare Ltd shall issue a credit to your credit card.

Whilst Orta Skincare Ltd endeavour to ensure all information present via our side is accurate, we make no representations, warranties or guarantees, whether express or implied, about the accuracy, timeliness or completeness of any information or material on our Site.

U.K. Shipping Only

CANOPY products will currently only ship within the UK including England, Scotland and Wales. We will only deliver online orders to UK addresses (excluding the Channel Islands.) You will be charged for your order in GBP.
We are unable to process orders to a P.O Box address.

Termination

These terms and conditions are applicable to you upon your accessing the site and/or completing the registration or shopping process. These terms and conditions, or any part of them, may be terminated by Orta Skincare Limited without notice at any time, for any reason. The provisions relating to Copyrights, Trademark, Disclaimer, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification and Miscellaneous, shall survive any termination.

Miscellaneous

Your use of this website and any dispute arising out of such use of the website is subject to the laws of England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales.

The main reasons for which an account may be suspended or deleted are: the user failed to comply with the Guidelines or these Terms and Conditions; and/or any comment submitted by the user account was deemed inappropriate. We will notify you of any suspension by email at the address you provided during your registration or at the next time you attempt to access your account. The length of suspension or the decision to delete an account will depend on the circumstances. If your account is suspended or deleted you must not attempt to re-register or submit content through another account without our prior written consent.

Indemnity

You will indemnify us and keep us indemnified against all losses, expenses, costs and liabilities which arise as a result of or in connection with your breach of these Terms and Conditions.

Transactions Concluded within this Account

Contracts for the supply of goods formed through our Site are governed by our Terms and Conditions of Supply. Unauthorised re-sale of CANOPY or CANOPY Beauty products is prohibited.

Where the Site or Application contains links to other websites and resources provided by third parties, these links are provided for your information only. We have no control over the content of those sites or resources, and accept no responsibility for them or for any loss or damage that may arise from your use of them.
