Candle Care & New LifeGuide

Burn safely, care consciously, and give your CANOPY Candle a new purpose once it’s finished.
When to Stop Burning
A candle should not be relit once only 5 mm of wax remains.
Extinguish the candle if the metal wick sustainer becomes visible.
Following these guidelines prevents overheating and ensures safe use.
A Second Life for Your Candle
When your CANOPY Candle is finished, it marks the beginning of its next chapter. Our glass jars are designed to be reusable and beautiful, offering endless possibilities:
Store your CANOPY skincare collection elegantly.
Use as a bud vase for single stems or wildflowers.
Transform into a pencil pot or makeup brush holder.
Repurpose as a tea-light holder for continued glow.
This approach reduces waste while keeping sustainability at the heart of your ritual.

Candle Safety & Care Instructions

Follow these essential care steps to get the most from your CANOPY 100% Soy Wax Candle—burn safely, extend its life, and enjoy it mindfully.

1. First Burn Set Your Candle’s Memory

On the first use, allow the candle to burn for 2–3
hours, until the wax has melted evenly across the surface.
This prevents tunneling (wax becoming hollow or forming a well around the wick) and ensures an even burn each time.

2. Safe Burning Practices & Essential Safety Tips

Always keep candles out of reach of children and pets.
Never leave a burning candle unattended.
Do not burn for more than 4 hours at a time.
Avoid moving your candle when it is lit or while the wax is liquid.
Place on a flat, heat-resistant surface,
away from draughts and delicate surfaces.

3.Wick Care Wick Trimming for a Clean Burn

Keep the wick trimmed to 3–5mm to avoid smoke and ensure clean burning.
Use a wick trimmer for precision.
Proper trimming prevents the wick from breaking and falling into the wax, which could render the candle unusable.
